An explorer first. Then a host.

“The poles are the most beautiful place on this planet, and at the same time the most fragile.”

Eduardo Feldman is a Mexican polar explorer and photographer. Since 2014 he has led more than fifteen expeditions across the high Arctic and the Antarctic Peninsula, learning where the ice opens, where the bears pass and when the light turns gold. Every expedition he curates is built on that knowledge.

The Territory

Routes decided day by day by ice and weather. Landings on foot, far from the usual stops.

The Table

World-class chefs cook what the journey inspires, three nights per expedition, at the edge of the map.

The Few

Twelve guests aboard the icebreaker Polarfront. Each edition happens once and is never repeated.

Polar Table. Fine dining at the edge of the world.

One chef, twelve guests, three dinners on the way to the Arctic ice cap. Exploration shapes the day; the table defines the night. Ice Cap sails from Longyearbyen, Svalbard, aboard the Polarfront, toward 82° North.

iii.For chefs

Cook where no one has ever cooked.

Polar Table invites a small number of the world’s great chefs to take their cuisine to the Arctic. Eduardo designs the expedition around the chef: the route, the guests and the story.

iv.The Lens

What the ice shows him.

Every expedition becomes a body of work. Arctic 2026 is the most recent: East Greenland and Svalbard, printed large-format in acrylic on aluminum.
